ABOUT
Lawrence, KS resident. Wanderer. Storyteller. Family-guy. Growing up in a small, central Kansas town, my pond was small. That was a gift that molded my creative journey. My first camera was a plastic Mickey Mouse model that I won at the local five-and-dime store. I was six years old. I still have that camera.
I went to college to study engineering and play football. I did both, and left both behind. My first real job was as an anchor/reporter – I wasn't very good –so I became what I loved, a photojournalist. Next stop was news management, graduate school, kids, video producer, ad agency copywriter, creative director, small agency owner, and eventually I wandered back into photography. I'm my own boss again, so I’m a photographer, director, writer, and designer.
If you’re looking for a storyteller who understands the relationship between art and commerce – I’m your guy. Let’s work together.
